Hi

If the washer is not draining then it is due to a clogged drain pump or a drain filter or a kinked drain hose. To resolve the issue you'll need to clean the drain hose, inspect if the drain hose is plugged. If the hose is fine, then remove the front kick panel and access the drain pump and filter, if you are unable to find the pump and filter remove the back panel as well and trace the drain hose to the bottom of the tub. There is a drain filter connected with the drain pump. It usually gets clogged, and needs to be cleaned every 6-8 months or so. The drain filter is a small white filter connected to drain pump with a hose. If it still doesn't work then you'll need to check the connections of the drain pump, check the electrical connections with a multimeter. If it still doesn't work then you would need to replace the drain pump. Hope this helps... Please back for any further assistance.

Washer is full of water. drain is blocked with hair or lint i believe. washed some nasty stuff. wont drain. how do i clear the blockage? i think may be blocked inside washer. drain hose is very narrow...

If you can get a garden type water hose near there, try to carefully use it to blow the water backwards through the drain hose. Put the hose up to the drain hose end and wrap a rag tightly around it and turn the water slowley. This may free up any debris from the hose and pump. If anything comes out, clean it out of the tub before you turn it back on.

Washer filled and will not drain if I reset the fill capacity knob it will fill but not drain.

This washer has a belt. The belt drives the pump on this washer. The motor turns in both directions. iIn one direction the washer tub is locked and the tranny agitates. The water pumps out and the tub spins in the other direction. If that pump is locked up or the hose from tub to pump is blocked then it wont pump the water out. Lay the drain hose down towards a bucket and see if any water comes out. If not you got blockage. Once you drain it out tip is back and remove the belt (no tools needed) turn the pump both directions and look for signs of a failed pump. Manual and more

I have a hotpoint WF250 1500 spin. It wont drain. i cleared filter but still not drain when restarted. What would problem be? i cannot find the user manual.

Could be a blocked pump or outlet hose, remove the hose and lay it down to floor level to drain off water, then remove lower rear cover of washer, and remove the hose from the pump, see if it nis blocked, couls also be a faulty pump.

My wf t1001tp wont drain...can anyone help?

sounds like a blocked drain hose or a faulty pump motor..If the machine can be drained by putting the drain hose lower than the water level then the hose is not blocked and it may be the pump...Make sure the hose leaves the machine from under the tub and not high on rear of washer. Obviously water won't flow uphill..If the pump has failed a new pump motor is much cheaper than buying a whole new pump....Nomess

more than likely that yor pump hasnt let all the water out try getting your outlet hose from under the sink and place into a bucket low to the ground if water comes out than your door will open after a short while if water does come out than make sure your pump or drain hose is not slightly blocked if not then your pump is on its way out also if water doesnt come out of drain hose than take it off at the pump if it comes out then, then your hose is blocked m8
