Hi,
I have a Xerox Documate 152 scanner. I am trying to scan in invoices to a particular directory located on an external harddrive connected to my PC. The PC is running XP Professional and the scanner was working fine recently and now isn't transferring the file correctly. It appears to scan the document fine with a status bar coming up showing percentage of completion, etc. Then it goes into document conversion mode (this is where I have selected for the scan to be saved as a .pdf and dropped in the directory) and says it completes, however the file never makes it to the folder. In fact, a search of the hard drive and other drives show that the file isn't being saved anywhere. I have verified that the user has write permissions to the directory we are trying to save to, validated that the scanner software is correctly setup to point to that directory, etc. Is there something I am missing?
Thanks,
Scott

Irish,
Thanks for the effort. I actually figured it out today by disconnecting the share drive, modifying some permissions to the overall drive, not just the folder I was trying to save to (allowing write privileges), and then re-connecting the share. This fixed my problem and allowed the scans to start writing to the correct location.
