A couple of weeks ago, I found that the dryer would stop after one load had dried (around 45 min) and wouldn't restart until it had been left alone for an hour or so (cooling down I guess). Then, this weekend, the time dropped to about 30 seconds, and the dreadful six beeps code thing happened. Even after cancelling the beep continues along with the lights flashing. I tried unplugging and trying again but had the same result. The unit is only three years old and looks like new. Is this normal? Is there anything other than a dying motor that could cause this? Hopefully yours, Steve R.

My dryer is brand new and has been installed. It runs for about 10 seconds and then shuts down. Any suggestions?
This has happened to me twice now. I take everything apart and clean it really well, including vacuuming excess lint out of every crevice and crack I can find. It seems to do the trick, but now my dryer will not function on the 'normal' setting at all. It just reads 'damp' and beeps away, I am forced to use towels or perm press settings.
I have the exact same problem. In my case, I am forced to use 45mim. setting. Nothing else works. The dryer runs about 10-15 sec. and stops. It beeps 6 times continuously. Please someone help me. By the way, it is only 2 1/2 old.
I have the same problem. Just started yesterday ( 29 of April) The machine is only about 1 1/2 years old. Sounds like a thourough clen is needed. Could this be a stuck button problem in the control panel??? Has anybody above solved the problem yet?
Please help...much appreciated.
