We conected for the first time a frigidaire portable air conditioner. I dont have the manual. It works great, but I don't know where am I suppose to connect the black thin hose that came with the a/c system. When I woke up in the morning it was all floded. Can you help me do you think there is a leak, or is the black hose needs to be installed? I saw online that people put a pan to collect water

That black hose is for the drain as air conditioners collect moisture as a side effect of cooling the air. That black hose should connect on to the outside bottom of the unit. It wll flood if the drain hole or nipple are plugged or blocked off. The air conditioner, if a window model, should not sit level in the opening but canter slightly to the outside to help drain off that moisture collected. If the nipple is broken off you'll need to find a way to mount that hose in the hole without sticking up into the unit so it can drain the water off. The hose is necessary to keep the water flowing outside instead of flooding the opening or inside.

I lost my user manual for my 4 in 1 portable air conditioning unit. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement?

Hi, you don'tmention what model you have but don't worry; most portable 4 in 1 airconditioning units are similar. Here is a link to a user guide that should helpyou. http://www.onninen.com/sweden/produkter/onnline/Documents/Manual+OPAL+AC%201.pdf

Hello, I need the hose to drain water outside that fits the fridgidair portable air conditioner #FAPO9EP1Z1. Is there another small tube or is there any other hoses or vents that I need? I don't see...

impreston - with out the following parts , you really don't have "just the air conditioner."

1- Flexible Exhaust Hose
2- Hose Adapters
1- Sliding Window Kit
1-Foam Window Seal
1-Remote Control

The drain hose is something you supply. A garden hose, no longer than 5 feet will do if you want it to be a continusos drain, rather than drain into the water collectiong bucket. But, without the first 4 items lister above, you won't be able to operate the unit.

Here is a link that may be of some help to you, since you don't have an Owner's Manual.

You will beed to contact Frigidaire (1 -800-374-4432 ) for the parts you're missing.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Yes, we have a fridgidaire FAC127S1A Model and we installed it today and are having trouble with it leaking water once it runs for a while. (The hole on the under side of the A/C.) Is this normal or is it...

If the water is leaking to the outside, that is normal. Especially if, the humidity is high outside.

If it's leaking to the inside. No, that's not normal and is due to improper installation. The rear of the unit should tilt down about 1/4" , to allow the water to drain outside via the drain pan hole.

To help you further, I have included a link to the Owner's Manual for your FAC127S1A model air conditioner. You can download and print it for future reference.

Our brand new Frigidaire portable air conditioner emits a bad smell? what could have cause this?

Was it new out of the box or did you buy it as an open box? Is it more of a musty smell or more of a rotting smell? Does the compressor stay on when you turn it on, or is it cycling on and off? Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.

Dont have book...dont know how to clean unit

The manual doesnt give much insight. Vacuum/wash(no dishwasher) the filter(remove by pushing down and away from the unit. Its right on top on the back. As alway unplug before. Wipe the outside. thats it in the manual.
