Hi,

PRB stands for Power relay board.

This is a bad error. This means that the power supply board had failed and needs replacement. The cost of replacement would be anywhere between $150 to $300.Unfortunately, this is not a DIY. You need to call a tech on site to replace the same.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

My Dacor oven keeps beeping and flashing PRB. How do I stop the beeping?

Most unwanted beeping on Dacor products are due to a bad touchpad... Use your model # and start looking for a replacement , by touchpad I mean a part something like this one: Dacor Touchpad 62678B

Gibson oven door is locked after attempting to do self-cleaning.

Unplug it. Plug it back in, then press n hold start. Make sure lock handle is all the way locked. You may have to push on the door at same time while locking n unlocking. If that doesn't work, shoot it. Ha

My probe (PRB) keeps flashing and beeping, how do I make it stop? Thanks!

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.I just had a service call on this issue. If the probe receptacle is clean you may have to replace the control. Try turning off the power for five minutes and see if that works.

My "Probe" keeps beeping. I tried cancelling...no help. Tried heating oven at 400 degrees as suggested by one person (to take out the humidity....)for 15 mins. Helps for awhile but then starts beeping...

The top oven the stove will lift up,with effort, and fold back, unplug first, and see if it needs cleaning and the sensors are in there I think, clean them, try to unplug it to reset, see if that helps.

Preheat takes forever

click the link  Oven temp sensors sense the temperature is the oven cavity and the temp sensor changes resistance, this change in ohm resistance tells the oven control what temperature the oven cavity at and tells the control to shut off the element or turn it back on. The most common temp sensors used today ( *not all ) are approx 1000-1100 ohm resistance at room temperature ( 70F )
Some ohm readings and there temperature:
Degrees F    -   Resistance
            100 - 1143 ohms

F2 Error code displays with audible beep.

The F2 typically means an overtemperature conditions:
1. over 650 degrees F unlatched or 915 degrees F latched.
2. cooling fan stalled while over above 650 degrees F or an oper thermal switch in the yellow leads.
Check for:
1.Welded relay contacts
2.Cooling fan stalled or blocked air flow to rear of unit.
3.High resitance in over sensor leads/connectors, especially at sensor in rear.
