Your camcorder is sending out an analog rf signal - current tv tuners are designed to work with digital signals. You can still feed your set with conventional video and audio outputs. If you want to go the rf route you can use one of those converters that you had to get years ago when the broadcasting system changed over to digital. Feed camcorder rf into it and out put it to your new set on channel three or four.

Your camera ccd-TRV328 has defect with ccd imager that's why not giving picture in camera / recording mode. This part (ccd imager) needs to be replaced and good news Sony will replace it free of cost.

Symptom shows bad CCD IMAGER in camera and requires replacement. (IC951 on CD-465 board, mounted at end of lens mechanism).
Nice to know that you are tech person so buy CCD IMAGER from any part store under following part number..

CCD-TRV211 is analog Video-8 camcorder so its movie data is not digital and can not be connected directly with computer via USB port.
Best and easiest was is to connect camera with DVD Recorder and burn DVD, this will convert analog movie file into digital data and you can copy it to hard disk of computer.

Its an old camcorder or 1995 or some thing and got leaky electrolytic capacitors problem on its main board that requires replacement. These capacitors are approx 60 to 70 and very difficult to unsold old and sold new capacitor on main board.
It does not worth to repair.
