If you havent figured it out already which I am positive you have... I just ran into the same problem with mine. All you have to do is put the stitch pattern selector (its the bottom knob on back end of the machine) on A then turn the stitch legnth to the left (its on the top far right) till it says S then you are in the stretch stitches. Hope this helps someone. :D
Turn the small knob on the end of the machine until the straight stitch is indicated on the front panel of the machine.
