2575 HP photosmart all in one. Display reads to install plain white paper in tray and hit OK. I have the paper in tray, hit OK but after a few moments display is asking for paper agian. Paper is not feeding at all. Just put in new ink. Noticed old cartridge had leaked in machine.

Check your paper tray and make sure you have the paper loaded correctly and that the paper guides are snug against the paper. There are settings on the menu that you can make sure they are set to plain paper
there is paper feed sensor inside the printer. make sure it is there and not broken off. the sensor is in the back center of the paper tray, and is spring loaded. if you can't find it, shake the printer with the paper tray facing down to see if a black piece of plastic falls out. the printer will also have this error when the printer cannot pick up the paper. clean the rubber roller with "rubber renew". you can use rubbing alcohol but rubber renew is recommended. the roller is often full of dust and fine paper debris.

To align the print cartridges from the HP Photosmart Software 1. Load letter or A4 unused plain white paper into the input tray. NOTE: You can also open the Printer Toolbox from the Print Properties dialog box. In the Print Properties dialog box, click the Features tab, and then click the Printer Services button. The Printer Toolbox appears. 4. Click the Device Services tab. 5. Click Align the Print Cartridges. When prompted, ensure plain white letter or A4 paper is loaded in the input tray, then press the button next to OK. NOTE: If you have colored paper loaded in the input tray when you align the print cartridges, the alignment will fail. Load unused plain white paper into the input tray, and then try the alignment again. The product prints a print cartridge alignment sheet. 7. Load the page print side down on the right front corner of the glass, and then press the button next to OK to scan the page. When the On button stops flashing, the alignment is complete and the page can be removed. Recycle or discard the page.
After installing a new print cartridge, wait at least 20 seconds for the print cartridge alignment process to start.
Wait for the print cartridge alignment process to fully complete.
Make sure that the alignment page has printed on plain, white paper that has no other printing on it. If you need to create a new alignment page, load the tray with letter or A4 unused plain white paper and turn the product off and on again to create the page.
after the alignment page prints then place the alignment sheet on the scanner glass and press the ok button
did you load your papers the right way? Look on your paper tray. There should be a few snaps right on the sides of your paper tray. Make sure you use those snaps to keep your papers confined in your paper tray
If the color or photo paper is loaded in the input tray when the printer aligns, the calibration might fail. Follow these steps to resolve the issue. Load unused plain white letter or A4 paper into the input tray. Press the OK button on the control panel.

how can i print 4x6 photo paper ? it says load paper in the main tray its only printing with large plain paper , even if its set to photo tray , and if i put the 4x6 in the main tray it says wrong paper zize ...
