Bad convergence IC's causes chirping sound too. Unplug the connector in the center of the board that connects the left side signal board to the middle deflection board. It's the connector furthest away from you when you're looking in the back of the set. If you replaced the flyback and it still chirps, then your convergence IC's are shorted. After unplugging connector turn set on. Should be ok but just have a pic out of convergence. Change the chips and you're ok.
Thats usually a sign of a bad flyback and or HOT being open due to the Flyback. If you need to know where to get parts with free instructions let me know, But respond to this post so I have your model number.
I have this same problem. I have already changed the fly back transformer which cost $100 from partsstore.com this did not fix the problem. so obviously the flyback is not what causes this problem. so I continue to watch a black screen and listen to chirping onmy beautiful bigscreen. its about to be turned into a fish tank because this is starting to get under my skin!
