Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

HOW DO I TRANSFER PHOTOS FROM MY SAMSUNG STRIVE TO MY PC?

To transfer samsung photos to pc, first connect Samsung to pc via usb cable in MTP mode. If you can't transfer photos in that way, you can ask help from Samsung data manager tool. With its help, you can easily access all photos on Samsung and transfer them to pc. https://www.coolmuster.com/android/transfer-photos-videos-from-s9-to-computer.html

Hi, I have a Samsung s630 camera and connected it to my pc with the usb cable.. I have tried downlaoding the software but still nothing happens. How do I get the pictures off? K

Buy an SD card and go to settings and transfer all the pictures from internal memory to the SD card.... then you will be able to get them off.... Hope this helps :)

If there is something wrong with the driver, then you can go to the Samsung website and they might have a driver for you camera :) Write back to inform me if this worked :)

Hey..infact ive lost my driver..and i can't upload any pictures into my computer..there are many photos of mine in the camera..but when i plug it into the usb..it does not open..the page is blank..what...

I guess S630 is your digiMax camera model, if its correct then you can download the software from the below link.

http://www.samsung.com/in/support/download/supportDown.do?type=digitalcamera&type_cd=04010000&subtype=archived+digital+still+camera&subtype_cd=archiveddigitalstillcamera&model_nm=KENOX+S630&mType=SW&vType=L&prd_ia_cd=04010500&disp_nm=KENOX+S630

Click on ZIP icon and download will start, install it and get going with it.

Retrieving deleted picture on samsung s630 camera

First do not panic! It is possible to recover your pictures if you take care. Take the card from the camera (powered off) and if it has a "write protect" tab then lock it now. Do not try and write anything to the card or you risk causing more problems.

You can either plug in you camera to the PC as it should appear as a “Removable Drive” or put the card in a card reader attached to your PC.

Next, if you are comfortable with using a PC then you can download a FREE utility that will recover your photos from the following link:

http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec

If you need something a little more "user friendly" then you will need to buy the software. If you search the web for photo recovery software you will find many.
One I have used successfully is RescuePro that used to be bundled with some Sandisk products. Now you can get it from the link below:

http://www.lc-tech.com/software/prwindetail.html

You can try the demo to see what you can recover before buying.

Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back to the card until you can recover your pictures to your PC safely!

Please take a moment to rate this solution & let us know if the information given was useful to you – Good Luck!

Memory Card

If you transfer the photos to your computer from the camera, you should be able to save to another memory card. I can't say whether or not the photos on the new memory card will show up on your camera since there may be certain requirements to display on camera screen.
Plug your camera into the computer USB or insert old memory card. A box should pop up giving you the option to view files. Copy and Paste (or Drag) selected photos to a specified folder on your computer (Like My Pictures in My Documents). Insert new memory card. Copy and Paste (or Drag) selected photos to the drive for your memory card.
