    To the asker "JMC...",

Under Fixya's rating system, a one thumb is usually granted for absolute nonsense or abuse. This post was neither.

Maybe the system isn't intuitive, maybe it was a mistake or maybe you meant to downrate. Bottom line, you have just given the worst rating possible for a well thought out, easy to follow, illustrated solution to your problem that was provided free by a volunteer.

That's some severe negative Karma. You probably won't have to even wait in line for it.

If you really did have a problem, It's unlikely that while those ratings exist, that anyone will answer anything of yours for any reason from now until 12/21/2012.

Sorry, that's just the way it is.

    Happy Thanksgiving

Nikon ML-L3 set up for Nikon D90?

Set the camera's release mode to one of the two remote modes. Quick-response remote mode fires the shutter when you press the button on the release, while delayed remote mode gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back before firing the shutter.

To change the camera's release mode, hold down the release-mode button to the right of the LCD panel on the top of the camera (marked with the overlapping rectangles) and turn the command wheel on the back of the camera. The icon at the top-right corner of the LCD panel will change. The quick-response remote mode is indicated by a picture of the remote, the delayed remote mode is indicated by both the remote and the self-timer (one-handed clock).

Trying to set up a Zeikos ZE-WRL3 with a Nikon D^) and it won't work could soeone guide me through it?

I assume you mean a Nikon D60? I'm also assuming the ZE-WRL3 is FULLY compatible with the ML-L3.

Set the release mode to one of the remote modes. Quick-response takes a pic as soon as you press the button. Delayed-response waits two seconds, allowing you to hide the remote behind your back. Either way, the usual caveats about focus and metering apply.

There should be a section in manual titled "Release Mode" or "Shooting Mode" that gives full details.
