Format internal memory

My internal memory takes only 3 pictures. I bought an appropriate disk and all is well - and with the disk I can download to my computer.

I would not rely on the internal memory if you want to take lots of pictures.

Tip

Take lots of pictures.

camera you can take lots of pictures and then immediately switch to eliminate those that do not want. If you do not have the photo you want, you can probably try again. This is particularly useful for taking pictures of the group - somebody who always has his eyes closed. The two things that determine the number of pictures you can take before the download is the resolution (quality) and the amount of memory in your camera. You can buy memory cards that increase the number of photos the camera can hold.<br />

I can't take pictures because it says full memory

Text messages and apps can take up a lot of memory, as well. Delete some of those and then try again.

The canra says DCF full error agter taking 7 pictuturs

Hi. The PL80 has an 86MB internal memory so it does not sound as if there is anything wrong. However you can buy an SD or SDHC memory card and use that as well, so you can take a lot more pictures.

The number of pictures which can be stored depends on the size of the internal memory, or the extra memory card, and whether you set the camera to record the images in 'Normal', 'fine', or 'super fine' mode. This determines how compressed the images will be, and how much memory each one will use up.

A 1GB card would give around 160 pictures in super fine mode. Have fun with your camera!

I have a PowerShot A590 IS. I did try to format the memory card. I can take 7 pictures, then it says the memory card is full. How do I change the setting so I can take lots of pictures?

Are you sure it's saying the memory card is full? It may be telling you the internal memory of the camera is full. It's very small and only holds about 7 pictures.

Samsung l200 cant take more than 4 pictures

i just had this problem too! the way i fixed it was to:
press the review button click the menu (center) button go all the way to the right side "settings" area (a little cogged wheel and wrench) format the camera ---> yes reset the camera ---> yes
make sure you don't have any valuable pictures still on the camera, because this will delete them, override any of your previous settings (like no sound, or different sounds) and basically reset the camera to original factory settings.
this worked for me, so i hope it will work for you, too!

Nikon s51 can't transfer video from camera to comptuer

Try removing the memory card and insert it into a USB card reader and connect it to the computer to read/copy the images/video files.
You should format your memory card using the camera functions before you take the next lot of pictures and videos.

No sound when making video clips

Yes there is an option to turn the sound off, so you can take up less space on the memory card. Try turning to the video clips on the dial then push the menu button for options!
