WS-55313 Where can I find replacement Lenticular screen?

I am having this same problem from the same model # television.

This set does not have a vertical hold control etc---try to explain what the set is doing or not doing so I or another expert can help you.

It means short protection.

98% chance one of the two pico fuses that protect the convergence circuit is blown.

Repair entails replacing the two STK-394-250 CHIPS AND THE BLOWN FUSE.

This may or may not be a do it yourself repair.

there are 2 functionality screens and 1 screen protector (on some)
front screen = lenticular
back screen = fresnel
very front screen = screen protector (you can replace w plexiglass)

the fresnel and lenticular are very specific.. contact your local repair center for a new one. you can cut them from old screens but have to do just right (fresnel is a lens type - pic will be distorted if off center)

maybe find a old junker tv to pull screens from because new ones are about $100 a piece

PCB Power has the Deflection Power Supply onboard and has a list price of $215.50 + S/H

Resolder the vertical output IC that should take care of your problem.

Pressed the ff on the tv remote...Menu 0370...be careful in selecting an option...have to make sure that what you are going to highlight or select is initial..selecting E2 reset would render your tv unusable..don't attemp to make any other changes on the service menu...JUST SELECT INITIAL..no other option should be selected on the service menu screen.
