I cannot set the time fax number and name on ricoh aficio 450. Please only realy solution not from another aficio

The fax user manual for the 450 is no longer available from Ricoh, so I can't check for sure, but the basic procedure is to press the User Tools button, go into Fax Features, and under one of the tabs will be a box where you can change the fax header information.

Delete destinations registered in the LAN-Fax Address Book:
On the [Start] menu, point to [All Programs], [LAN-Fax Utilities], and then click [Address Book].
The [Address Book] dialog box appears.
If LAN-Fax Driver has already started up, click [Edit Address Book...].
Click [New/Browse...], and then select the CSV file containing the address list to be edited.
Select the destination you want to delete so it is highlighted in the list.
Click [Delete].
Click [Yes].
Click [Close].
If you made changes to a destination, a confirmation message appears. To save the changes, click [Yes].
If you do not want to save the changes and want to quit editing, click [No].
To return to the editing display, click [Cancel].
The confirmation dialog box does not appear when you have not made any changes after starting Address Book.

User Tools/Fax/Parameter Settings. Personally I wouldn't mess with those, it's to easy to totally mess up the fax system if you flip the wrong bit switch setting. I threw my 450 programing guides away some time ago being that there's just a hand full of these things left in the hole country. I believe if you go to Ricoh's web site and go to the download page, you can download the fax user manual which if memory serves me (and it often doesn't), you'll find how to change the fax parameter settings.

Set date and time;

• Press User Tools/counter button
• Press 3 for Fax

The Facsimile User tool main menu appears.

• Press the number 6 for Key Op. Settings and press the hash key within 3 seconds.
• Press 18, Date and time or next until it shows.

Select month, date, year or time with arrow buttons,
enter the month with Prev. or Next and enter the correct time and date.
Press OK > PrevMenu > User tools/counter button.
