If you open the printhead, you see one red ligth, just moov this lite to the centre of the label and try again, is possible that you need to run the manual calibration from the setings,
Try first to run the SENSOR PROFILE and see if the sensor is cheking the gap. Then run manual calibration. If not work, reset to factory defult.

I have a Zebra Z4M printer. We use it to print on various labels - pre-printed and blank labels (semi-gloss). I've been struggling to print on one of the pre-printed labels. Everything else prints...

some labels are hard to calibrate, nee to calibrate the sensors with manual calibration.
1} go to the MEDIA AND RIBBON CALIBRATION,
2}take 2 or 3 labels from the base paber, load the way to the based paper stay unther the sensors, 3}close printhead.
4} press ok.
5} Move the ribbon out from sensors and close the printhead.
6) press ok
7) wen printer ask RELOAD ALL, load the labels correcly and the ribbon, close the printhead and the top door, and press ok. The printer run the calibration it self.
wen finish, saved (press setub twice) and test.

My zebra printer wont line up the labels and keeps saying paper out

run the sensor profile, check if check the gap, run manual calibration, if ask for reload media, please take 3 or 4 labels from the label rolar, put through the sensors (check if ribbon(if use) is install on the correct spots and don't stop the sensors to read the gaps) and run the manual calibration.

Out of Paper Error

You get the error because the printer doesn't see any paper.
There are paper guides that need to be set for the size of the labels being printed. If you are switching from a 4" wide roll or sheet to a 3 1/2" label, you will have to move the slider in about 1/2". You will also have to calibrate the printer when you change label stock. If it won't calibrate, make sure the photoeye is hittint the break between labels. The photoeye is located where you insert the labels into the printhead path.

Zebra 4M Plus - There is no display info when powered on.

Ok so the printer is calibrating and printing which means the fault lies with the display, or power to the display pcb. Check the fuse on the mlb, if that is ok then order p/n G79302M (display panel)
