Hello, I have a problem with my widescreen. I have a laptop (HP Pavilion dv2418ca, Windows Vista, Memory 2,00 GB, Processor Intel (R) Core (TM) Duo CPU, 32-bit Operating System) and my widescreen freezes after 8-12 minutes when my cursor stays stable (inactive), without moving & clicking anything. After this period when i try to use my mouse, the widescreen becomes completely white (freezes). Why does this happen? Do you have any advise about this problem to introduce me?

It may be caused by overheating. Overheating is the main problem with HP portables. Use a fan to cool down the computer and check how long it last working. If blowing air with a fan "Appears to fix the problem" stop using the computer and get maintenance service for it. The processor area needs to be cleaned.

Which is better laptop deal?

Hi !!

Ofcourse 2.4 ghz is better than 2.1 ghz but its not a very big difference if price difference is more than 100$ than go for first one else second one is good and the most important thing i want to mention is that it all depends upon your needs you havent mention for what purpose you are going to purchase. But both are enough for gaming, daily use and for techie as well.

Hope that helps
Thanks

Please suggest me a laptop model...

you best bet is to go too www.google.com ... in the search engine type in laptop reviews and decide which seems to be the best for your needs. some sites i would suggest for prices are www.newegg.com www.tigerdirect.com and www.ncix.com
tho there are lots of sites that sell computers that's a good start. oh and www.dell.com ... that site allows you to "build" your computer to the specs you want (tho it is limited somewhat by the choices it offers you)

Please take a moment to rate this solution thanks

Amd turion x2 rm70 vs intel core 2 duo t5750!!!!

I read this and don't believe you - yes the AMD dual core gets hot - yes AMD processor are HOT processors - is intel better - no there on par with AMD - the thu put rate is so close it doesn't matter - now vista basic is just that BASIC - if you want to bump it up - home premium 32 or 64 but ultimate 64 should get it going.
