I have the SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player (windows 7.7 installation CD). I had to clean my hard dirve and when I tried to load the sansa clip software the MP3 Player would not work. I was told that when the software was developed an error was in the software. I can play what I orginally loaded on the Player but I can not delete or add songs. Could you send or email me software that will work. I am not very computer savy. Thank you for your assistance!

SOURCE: sansa clip installation

What you need to do is update your Windows Media Player. I believe it has to be WMP10 and higher. Let me know if that works. Oh and you also need at least Windows XP Service Pack 2. so update your windows software

"No Song" displayed even though music has been loaded, many times

The songs ripped from CD are not in the right format. In Windows Media Player, highlight the Rip tab, click the black arrow under the Rip tab, select Rip Options --> Format --> Mp3. Now, re-rip the songs. Before you transfer these tracks to the player, make sure you delete the tracks that are on the mp3 player now, or else Windows Media Player wil ltell you that the tracks are already there. Now, transfer the newly-ripped Mp3 tracks to your Sansa. Should be good to go.

Sansa clip

You don't need Vista to install the Sansa Clip. Run the installation CD (or grab the software from Sandisk's website), and plug the player into your computer.

Hi sansa clip 2gb

You might have vista, which is compatible with nothing. Go to the Sandisk website, and get the up-to-date software for Vista. If you have a Mac or Linux, forget it.
