I have a system 32 virus infected on my Zen stone, which has now infected my computer, which I have removed with my antivirus, how can I remove the virus from my Zen stone? Thanks

hi!

The best option is to format the device. If you don't want to do it, you can connect your mp3 to the computer with your antivirus activated. It will detect the virus, and clean it for your.

How to remove a virus??

One thing you can do is connect the mp3 player and right click on the icon, when the menu appears click on scan with: (antivirus) and let the scanner run all the way, it will show the infected files, go ahead and remove them. Sometimes the auto start file is detected as a virus because it is an executable file.
the other way is for you to format the mp3 player, same way right click on the icon and select format. with this you have to be careful because sometimes the firmware is hard to reinstall on the device.

if it works for you, don't forget to rate me

thx

Computer cannot detect mp3 player

If the level of infection by the virus is high, you can try repairing the OS by using the OS cd. You wont loose any installed program if repaired. But the virus will be in dead state after repairing. Then install a good anti virus and do a computer scan. This is the best way to get ride of severely infected virus. The problem you have can be because the virus may have corrupt the mp3 player's exe file

Hello Sir I have a 2gb kingstone pendrive when i insert in my pc and after i just open but there is a problem they want first formate and than open any folder when i formate my pendrive they erro was ...

your pendrive is infected with Autorun virus
to remove this virus install malwarebytes (It is a antimalware software )
scan your whole computer with your pendrive
when you remove the virus format your pendrive .

If the above method is not work
Try to format in other operating system
like in vista or in 7 but not in xp

Can't scan for viruses: sony WALKMAN NWZ-B133F.

Avg scans a portable drive every time you access it . If you still feel that your player is infected , try Avast or the lesser known Removeit Pro (antivirus softwares )

AMT MP3 PLAYER USB 2 DEVICE VIRUS PROBLEM

It could be that _your_ computer is virus-infected, and it tries to infect any device that you connect to your computer.

Find some other computer with "current" and "good" anti-virus software.

Connect the device to that computer.

The anti-virus software should both _detect_ and _remove_ the computer-virus from the device.

Then, on your computer, download and run the Microsoft MRT (Malware Removal Tool): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/890830/

Also, on your computer, download and run the virus-scanner from: http://www.prevx.com
to "clean" your computer.

Then, once your computer is "clean", connect all the USB devices that you have, and virus-scan each one of them.

Dont know how to fix this

if you have used limewire to get music, you may have been infected with a virus. there are other symptoms to test this:
  1. if you even use limewire
  2. when you plug your sansa into the computer via USB, the computer will not detect it.
  3. when the problem first started, whenever you selected something, the screen faded all white.
if these symptoms apply, then you have been infected with a virus. there is no way to fix it, at least none that ive discovered.
