    same problem have the akai lct2785ta and i have a comcast "universal" remote that i cannot get to work did the scan code for almost an hour b4 i finally gave up if anyone has any codes that arent listed plz help

On your remote hit tv once.
then hold setup until it blinks....
then hit 991 and tv will blink 2x...
then alternate from power to TV S L O W L Y and it will work....then hit setup and its set.

Comcast actually has several different remotes for their different set-top boxes and the remote codes aren't always the same. They list all of their current remote devices on the following page. If you click on view manual it will give you a list of remote codes.

Comcast remote will not work my emerson tv
Each remote has a different code usually. So you cant get one from me, or anyone else. What you can do is call the comcast company and tell them your problem they should be able to give you a better explanation.

I was just reading everyone’s comments regarding not being able to find the Emerson LC320EMXF 32′ LCD TV code for the Comcast DC50X Digital Transport Adapter. I’m using the Sylvania code of 11864 and the Comcast DC50X remote seems to work fine. Hopefully it’ll work for you as well.

If you only wish to power the TV off/on with the remote, there is an alternative. Plug the TV into the outlet on the back of the Comcast box. In the Setup Menu for the Comcast box there is an option to make the outlet switched or unswitched. Select SWITCHED then the TV will turn on/off with the Comcast box. The
LC320em9 will maintain the previously selected input.

Can't program comcast universal remote for my emerson tv
Call comcast and ask them for steps to try a random code search, It is time consuming so they wont be able to stay on the line so be prepared to write down the instructions and then try the codes on your own. Keep in mind, there might not be a code for your set up. Hope this helps!

Comcst remote control code not working
look on the label on the back of your Emerson TV. Read the small print and see if there is a possible different manufacturer that actually made the Emerson TV. Just because it says emerson doesn't mean emerson made it. Also if no luck there try the UL listing code and search that code to the UL listing website. That may help also.
