I have cannon s3is i was in the middle of shooting and the lens started trippin out and it wont go back in and it say lens error reset the camera. how do i do that or what do i need to do to fix it

Do a factory reset, then apply your user customization settings one by one until you find the one which causes this problem.

this is a normal occurrrence in devices containing CCDs and does not constitutes a bad functions. (tHIS image will not be recorded when still photo, but it will be recorded when shooting movies.
Remember the in the LCD monitor will darken in strong SUNLIGHT or bright light.

'Error 99' indicates some problem with the AF contacts. This is a common error in Canon lenses. It could indicate a very simple problem like dirty contacts or a much serious one like the breakage of USM cable.
As a first step, you can try cleaning the lens and body contacts (the metal contacts between the lens and body) using a pencil eraser. Be careful to hold the body facing down so that no dust falls inside. After cleaning both the lens and the body contacts, re-attach the lens and try shooting. If the AF does not work still, you need to take the lens to an authorized service center.

when i turn on my cannon 1xus70 camara lens error comes up on screen then turns of any answers please 

When I turn on the camera , the words lens error, restart camera apaers on the screen.
The camera then turns it self off.

The lens is jammed meaning you are going to have to open it yourself you should onlyhave todo that once and itshould work again
