(1)
Verify that the cable bar sensor is plugged into the back of the Wii console and that the sensor bar is properly aligned with the centre of your TV screen.
(2)
Check that the Wii remote is synchronized with the console using the POWER button on the remote control to turn on the Wii console. (The POWER button is the white button with the red symbol which is located in the upper left corner on the Wii remote.) If it does not work, try to synchronize the remote control, then turn the console and controls that respond correctly to commands.
(3)
Verify that the distance between the Wii remote and the TV display to be between 1 and 3 meters, that there are sources of intense light that can interfere with the proper functioning of the remote (read Guidelines game for Wii for more information ) And that the sensor bar is placed correctly (see Setting up the sensor bar). Avoid the presence of sources of infrared light as electric stoves, gas propane or kerosene, candles, fireplaces, stoves or other heat sources close to the console.

If the steps described above do not solve the problem, the sensor bar could have a problem. Read the following instructions:

On each side of the sensor bar are five infrared lights that located the position of the Wii remote. If these lights do not work, the cursor on the remote will not appear on the screen and you can not step through screens of settings. To see these lights, you must look on the LCD screen of a digital camera or a mobile phone. Verify that the sensor bar is connected and that the Wii console is turned on, and then framing the bar sensor so that it appears on LCD camera or cellphone. If you see five infrared lights on each side, the sensor bar works. Maybe you'll need to slightly adjust the position / tilt the camera or the telephone, but is rather easy to see these lights on the LCD screen
;)

Error Code: 51030 The only wireless network within range of your Wii console is not configured or is not compatible with the Wii.

  • If you are getting this error after completing a system update, this is usually because the console resets to using the first connection slot after an update. There are two things you can do:

    • If you know which connection file you were using before, you can select that connection file, then select "Use this connection" to change that to the default. You will need to do this each time they download an update.

    • If you don't know which connection file you are using, or if you would prefer not to update the active connection file each time, try to clear, and then re-create your connection setting in slot one before doing the remaining troubleshooting.

  • Check to see if the router you are using is a known to be incompatible. Click here to view our list. If your router is known to be incompatible, we recommend using a different router if possible.

  • Make sure that the SSID (network name) matches exactly to what you have entered in the Wii console's settings. To verify:
    1. Login to your router's settings (click here and select your router, if available, for information).
    2. Look for the section for SSID (typically in the "wireless settings" area).
    3. After you find the SSID (network name), verify in the manual settings of the Wii console that the SSID appears exactly as listed in the consumer's router. This includes making sure capitalization, spaces, or special characters match exactly.

  • Look up your router, if available, in our list of wireless routers, and check for any special notes that may be necesary to get the connection to work properly.

  • The router may not be assigning an IP address to the Wii console, and a connection using the "Manual Settings" may be necessary. Click here for help.

  • Your router may require a firmware update to work properly with the Wii console. Firmware updates can usually be found on the router manufactruer's website; consult the manufacturer for more information.

Cannot get english on camers

Read the manual section which states setup or setup language. You will be given several options, then select English and return. Now your camera would display everything in English. If you do not have your manual go to this link to doanload it.

Selecting a game in wii play

Each Mii that you play on your Wii Play game must each go through the growing pains of passing each section first. You should be able to drudge through the games in about 3-5 minutes each. Once the games are unlocked, they stay unlocked.

Good luck!

Nintendo wii consule (european german version)

Hi,

The Wii Sports manual can be downloaded here

The manual for the Wii console itself can be obtained here

As for changing the language in Wii Sports, I am not sure, but it usually gives you the option when the game first starts up, otherwise it might use the system language.

Thanks.
