I have a sony kdl-v40xbr1 that was bumped and the screen and the outside screen is pefectly fine but the screen appears to have been cracked. It shows an entry point and than spider like veings shooting out. It showed a picture for the first 3 days and now there is no picture at all.

Sorry,this tv is not worth fixing.Sorry,this tv is not worth as a whole tv anymore.Now it only can be salvages for it electronic boards for parts,that it.LCDS,Plasmas or any other tvs for that matters.Have a damage or broken tvs pictures screens panels.The tvs pictures screens panels are 90% important to the tvs.These pictures screens panels are limited in productions by the tvs corporations,no where u will be able find it and buy a pictures screens panels for the tvs replacement,except by the tvs corporations themselves.Yes,they'll sell it u,but they'll charge u the same as a new tv.
