Have you the right configuration? If, for instance, the PC is set to 1280 X 800 and your projector is set to 800 X 600 then it will not work properly. Hope that helps.

There are 3 different types of analog video signal ports on your projector; s-video, composite video, and RGB. Which one of the three are you using to connect your PC to?
The projector's resolution rate is XGA [1024 x 768]
If you are using a VGA cable designed and capable of handling 640 x 480 resolution; then it will not support XGAs 1024 x 768 signal. On the other hand, if the coaxial cable you are using is a multi band one that is capable of supporting VGA and XGA resolution signals, most likely the problem is not with the cable- although I have come across brand new cables that are defective.

it has to be set up as an additional monitor/display. so, there are settings to set up the displays as either twins, unique seperate or something like that. have not had to do it. but i know that the graphics have to be able to recognize what format the signal is. pc settings change and graphics setttings change. have you done both? the projector should have had instructions? if not look for the manual online.
The projector looks for Horizontal sync & Vertical sync signals from the VGA source. If it finds these signals only then the source is connected. Even if the sync signals are found, the RGB switching should be working. Either there is a problem in sync circuitry or RGB switching. You need to be well conversant with the circuitry.
There are several input that you will have to select. RGB for input from computers. There are also video imput selection if you plug it into a DVD player.
I'm going to guess that you are using an RGB cable to connect to the projector and the projector is expecting a composite signal. The composite signal would be what uses a yellow connector when you use hte red/whjite/yellow type of cable. All of the video is carried by the yellow. If the projector is expecting this and you send out component (RBG in this case), then the only video signal processed is the green. Since the green also contains the sync signal, the picture will be seen but green.
Check the menus on the projector. You should find a video selection area that will allow you to change to component input.

Computers do not generally send an RGB signal, you should be connected via a VGA cable between the projector and the computer. The input menu on the projector should be set to VGA. The output of the computer should be equal or lower to the maximum resolution of the projector.
the resolution might not match from presenter to projector. are you using rgb, composite or s-video? the signal might not match. there might be an auto adjust on the projector to read and match the elmo's resolution. if not, the elmo may have an issue sending a powerful enough signal to the projector, and need a new main board.
A computer tech in my department spent about 30 minutes but was finally able to get the S-video cable to work with my computer. He got the extended monitor to work first. Then by trying many things was able to get the monitor to clone in TV mode (because of the S-video). Thanks for your offer though.
