Yes I believe the links you posted discuss the kind of glass used in that telescope. But remember what I said earlier. If you enjoy the telescope and it gives very good views, don't worry about what kind of glass was used.

Technical Services Note MT6xx/T6xxx (All) Paper Motion Faults 11 May 1995 T645.039 If you are having problems with recurring Paper Motion Faults that don’t seem to stay fixed by doing the paper motion sensor calibration, try the following: · Check the back of the form along the left side to ensure there are no black (dark) areas in the area of the tractor drive holes. (If there are, this is probably the problem. If not, proceed on down this list.) · Clean the sensor on the upper left tractor then run the calibration routine again. If it’s not better yet, continue. · With Tech Access ON, do the following: Go into DIAG - Meters - Paper Motion and monitor the sensor reading with paper installed and removed. If the reading with paper installed is in the 300 to 350 mVolt range, change the sensor (even if it seems to run the calibration alright). A more normal reading would be something greater than 600 mVolts for the MT691/6092 and 1000mVolts or greater in the 645/661. Don’t forget to recalibrate the sensor. If it’s not fixed yet, try this next step. · Run a configuration printout and then do the following: 1. Clear the NV Ram (Tech Access feature ON) 2. Calibrate the Paper Motion and Paper Out sensors 3. Restore the configuration based on the print-out you just ran
You lost the sensor calibrations. Grab the service manual. Do the four fault clear, enable tech access mode and calibrate paper motion, paper out and platen.
This info is from the Maint. Manual for T6212/T6215/T6218.
Sensor is located below the upper left tractor item 99 below. Clean it and make sure the V is facing your holes in the paper. If that isn't the problem? see below how to meter sensors procedures...
