Question about Sony Ericsson w580i Cellular Phone

My phone its not showing memory stick it tells insert memory stick but it is inserted and then i switched offand on it tell format i have given yes it asks password for formatting but i did not put password in my memory card i had typed 1234 as password it shows formatting failed...then also tells insert memory stick but it is inserted already..please help me ......

I bought a new Memory stick for my Sony DCR-TRV320 Camcorder and when i switch my device to memory mode, it tells me "Memory Stick Error."
Check the following:
Memory Stick is inserted in correct position and orientation in camcorder. Try re-inserting several times.
Write-protect tab is switched to allow writing to memory stick (on back of memory stick)
Memory Stick is formatted in FAT file system (this should already be done except if memory stick has been formatted in a computer in a different format)
Memory Stick is not over the maximum capacity memory stick of the camcorder.
Memory Stick is not full.
Memory Stick is clean and dry.
The dcr-trv320 is a 2000 yr. model and came with a 4mb capacity stick and can probably only use up to a 128mb capacity stick or possibly 256mb. Most memory sticks you can buy today are 1GB, 4GB, 8GB etc. memory stick pro duo. and are probably incompatible. E-Bay has some of the old memory sticks like the 128mb for sale.
There is a slight possibility that static electricity discharge zapped the stick. Try another memory stick or try the stick in another device.

Switch of your mobile then insert the memory card and also check to insert memory card rightly.

Hey I have 1GB Memory Stick and can't send music or photos on memory with program sony ericsson pc suite when i turn on my phone it says Warning!All content on Memory Stick will be lost ...
you can try some data recovery software. You can see

It tells the steps how to perform data recovery.


If above does not work, you may have to format the memory stick (use quick format), and then use above mentioned software to scan again the memory stick and recover your files.

On my Nokia N70, my phone memory card is not accsesible . Even it shows " No Memory Card inserted " on my Mobile after inserting it into phone and when i connect it to computer it does not shows memory...
first connect your memory card to a card reader and check wehther it is recognising...if no,sorry to tell you this, your memory card is currupted. formating is the only one way to get bak your memory card...hope this will helps you...thank you...

Camera keeps showing insert memory stick
In your camera options, you need to tell the phone to store pics inthe phone rather than the memory card.

When in camera mode press OK button, press right until you get to 'Save To"
Select Phone Memory.

This should fix the problem.

My memory card is inserted, but its telling me its not!

first is try checking its memory terminals maybe their something blocking it or you inserted it in a wrong position.

or try restoring your phone to its factory settings...

 if still nothing happens maybe you have a defective memory card. or to be sure try using other memory card, if still cannot read it theirs a prob in your memory slot internally....
