Have you finalized the disc yet? BTW, Finalize is available ONLY when the camera is powered from an electrical wall socket. Not available under battery power.
if you are trying to play the dvd in the computer you have to finalize it first. The Camcorder has to be plugged in for this to work. if you want to see the Pictures make sure that you have it in the view mode. Where you would see ll the pictures on the camera, then it should show up on you "My Computer". It took me a while too. Good luck
You have to plug the camera into the wall charger in order to finalize. I was having the same problem. Once finalized, I transferred the disk to the PC. You need DVD decrypter software in order to view the videos on the disk. Canon does not supply this. Canon recommended that I use one of several free downloads. They said download "DVD Decrypter" which I downloaded. Type DVD Decrypter into Google search and you will find it. It will rip it and download it to your computer. I then viewed the video with Windows Media. It works fine.
What is the software for the printer? I suggest you go to the Canon support site and download the latest version for the Windows you have, 7 or later is not compatible with older Windows systems like XP and down.
