If you are going to install the bulb just remember DO NOT HOLD directly the bulb, use any clothe or gloves, because even a fingerprint can busted the bulb even thou it's not yet use
hi from uk the number plate lights x2 are on same fuse as side+tail lights so if n/plate is not lit ?more likely bulbs have blown ? to access remove the panel from boot lid (clips+screws) then you will see rear of n/plate lights the bulb holders twist anti clock slightly and pull out replace bulbs with same type 5watt check all work b4 refitting panel
looked up the bulb part is no longer available, but it looked like a regular appliance light bulb, remove the old one no diffrent then any appliance bulb you can buy in the supermarket if need be
