Power LED light indication blinkings or completely dead?Yes,than the power supply board is the causes.That the board,where the power a/c cord plug in to it.Take the aparts,replaced the power supply board,will sold this problems.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Have a soyo mt-sytpt4227ab for the last year, was watchin tv and the picture went. audio worked fine. unplugged it and let it sit, plugged it back in and red light on tv comes on but power doesnt turn on...

take the back off and get to the power supply most likely you will find some bad capacitors in it they will probaly have the tops of the caps bulgeing.

My Direct TV receiver box works perfectly with other TV's but with the Soyo GoVideo I cant get any video or sound with the cable inlet but I can receive video with s-video cable and sound with the red...

No it is not destroyed it is probably just a loose solder connection. Please have a tech check it out . This shouldn't be expensive at all

most commonly caused by a bad power supply, these can be purchased online at various retailers and installed in just a few minutes or done at a local repair shop if you prefer

FIRST THING TO LOOK: POWER SUPPLY BOARD FOR BLOATED ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITORS. THIS IS NOT A DO IT YOURSELF JOB. MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE .IN ELECTRONICS AND DIAGNOSTIC/SOLDERING EQUIPMENT. AS WELL, PARTS ON HANDS. GO VIDEO IS NOT A KNOWN BRAND FOR TVS, IT MUST BE SOME NAMELESS BRAND WITH THAT LOGO.FIRST, CONTACT MANUFACTURE AND SEE IF YOU CAN OBTAIN WHOLE BOARDS FOR YOUR SET. IT MIGHT BE A MAIN/SCALLER/CONTROL BOARD INVOLVED, WHAT ARE NOT REPAIRABLE.
