How do you remove the glass front of the oven door of a whirlpool oven RBD306PDQ9 to clean between the glass

I can't work out what the x'd out word is!

The two glass layers normally fit into metal channels, take the door off and look for screws. Spares are fairly easy to obtain.

Usually the oven doors when opened just slide out of the hinges especially on whirlpool. Once you slide out the door you will have to remove the inner door screws as well as the handle screws and the screws around the sides of the door if there are screws there too. Then you can get to the glass. Then you should be able to replace or clean the glass.

P.S. On some models you may also find screws holding the door to the hinges. If so you will want to remove those too.

Usually the door dont come off just the front glass comes off for cleaning...there should be two or more screws on the top of the frame of the door when these are removed the glass panel should clip off...you will need to apply some pressure to remove the glass but enough that it starts to bend the door frame...be careful..

hi there sometimes glass will just pull up on sliders on the side just open door etc and the glass panel should simply slide up.

Make sure you install a replacement door that is designed for your brand of microwave to ensure that it will fit correctly.

Remove the power cord from the electrical outlet and move your microwave onto a workbench or sturdy table. For cabinet-mounted microwaves, pry off the decorative grills or front panels and remove the mounting screws. You should then be able to slide the microwave out of its mounting bracket.

2 Open the microwave door and remove the glass tray. Use a flathead screwdriver or putty knife to pry off the plastic cover on the inside of the door. Work around the edge of the glass until the cover slips free.

3 Remove the door by pulling the mounting pins out of the hinges at the top and bottom. You may need an assistant to steady the door so you can have both hands free to work with the pins.

The procedure to Disassembling the door is as follows:-- 1. Set the oven door wide open. 2. Lift the hinge jumpers with your thumb and index fingers, then turn them fully outwards to the end of stroke. 3. Turn the door towards the closure position and lay it on the jumpers: in this way the hinge's spring is blocked. By fully closing the door the hinges are unhooked from the connection slits which are integral with the oven muffle. 4) Re-assemble the door by carrying-out the aforesaid operations in the opposite order. Disassembling of the door glasses:-- for your safety, before removing the glasses you should remove the oven door. To facilitate the cleaning, after having removed the door from the oven, you can proceed with the disassembly of the glass. Release the two upper blocks so that the glass can be removed. After the cleaning you should reassemble the glass, replace the blocks and lock into position. all oven doors collect grease to some extent, depending on which pane of glass actually got dirty will determine how difficult it is. your owners manual shoudl describe how to remove the oven door, after that, layont it o nthe table and carefully reomving the screws from along bottom panel you should be able to ge tto your dirty glass, might take a few screws, just dissasmble slowly, dont overtigthen screws and above all remembrer how your taking apart for reassmbly

To dismantle the kitchenaid pro line oven door: there is a lever over the hinges that attach a door to the oven. The lever is right on top of the hinge. Pull the lever up. When that lever is in the up position, you can pull the door out.
