Need to reset (f7d3302 router ) to factory If i do this will i have to set it up again i dont have the paper that have the factory user and password that come with it?

To perform a factory reset:

1. Verify that your router's Power light is on.
2. On the back of your router, locate the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button.
3. Use a paper clip or similar object to press and hold the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button for seven seconds.
4. Release the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button.
   Your router resets.

When you log in to your router again, use the default login credentials:

• User Name: admin
• Password: password

You need to contact your internet provider who will be able to reset your password.

what is the model #?
Most netgear routers default to a username of "admin" and password is either " admin ", "password" or it is just blank. Those are the defaults unless someone changed it.
If you cant get in you can hold down the reset button on the back for 30 seconds (while it is plugged into power) and that will set it back to factory default settings then one of the above should work.

that will rset the router but you will have to tell it any special settings such as your ISP logon details and wireless setting all over again on most routers.

In case you have forgotten the password of your router, there is no way to recover it back.
ALL YOU CAN DO IS TO RESET THE ROUTER TO FACTORY SETTINGS
You may reset router to factory settings by pressing the reset button on the back side of the router. Press the button for a few seconds, the lights on the front would blink and the router would restart with factory settings. Please note that ALL SETTING WOULD BE LOST...AND YOU WOULD HAVE TO MAKE ALL NETWORK CONFIGURATIONS AND SETTINGS ALL OVER AGAIN

There are 2 way to reset username and password
1. Access router by typing the router address in internet browser and look for the option for resetting user/ password
2. you may reset router to factory setting from the reset button on the back side of the router. use a paper pin to press the button for few seconds, the lights on the from would blink and the router would restart with factory setting. Please not that ALL SETTING WOULD BE LOST...

At the back of your router there is a tiny reset hole, to reset the router press the reset button using a paper clip or pen.

On the back of the router is a small button,hold it in with a pen tip or paper clip for 60 sec.
This will reset it to factory defaults.

Then you can log in as admin
password= admin
username= admin
Once in you can make your changes again.

Back side of the unit has a reset button. Use a pointed paper clip to press the reset the device. hold the reset for at least 10 seconds. Momentarily pull the power plug and let it restart. This will reset the device to default settings.
Default user name: Admin
Default password: password

Most routers can be restored to default setting including the initial login/password. To do this you will need to press and hold the reset. This is usually found on the rear edge or bottom of router and will require a small pin or paper clip to press. After reset, unplug router from power for 15 seconds and reconnect power. You can now use the access code provided with router. This is usually stamped or printed on bottom of router.
