Hi guys, my conair trimmer wasnt working properly, so i decided to unscrew the top part(the blade part) and i now i have 4 parts and dont know how to put it back together, i have 2 pieces used for the actual trimming, and 2 white pieces, one which has 2 spring like structures attached to it....thanks for anyhelp...
The larger white pieice that has holes in it should be connected between both the spring and the smaller razor, The bottom of the larger white peice has to be able to fit in the peice of medal that moves in a circular motion inside the top part.
First, Try to make the hooks of the spring go in pretty securly inside the small holes. The flat side of the white peice has to be connected to the flat side of the smaller razor. They should kinda snap together on the top hole. I had to gently place the parts together and push the larger white peice in the medal by placeing the larger razor peice right on top and pressing down really hard. You might hear some snapping but the peices should all connect together and the large medal peice should connect to the black groves and press hard. Hold in place while putting the screws back in.
I would also try calling the customer service number on the razor 1-800-3-CONAIR, they may be able to help you. There may be a warranty. Let them know there was something wrong with it to begin with and you tried fixing it. I did that one time with another product and they shipped me the parts. Sometimes they do it as a courtesy.

I have Conair GMT189CGB do I have to remove the hair blade every time I want to change attachments? If so, this seems to be a royal pain.
If you call conair don't say that you unscrewed anything because that will void the warranty and then you will be screwed. Tell them that it is stuck and you need help. They might just send you a replacement head.
Hey thanks ALOT for the solution, but i still cant understand where the white piece with the spring attached to it is supposed to go, if i dont attach this piece to the machine, everythin fits perfect, and when i try to add this in, it dosnt fit together, any additional help would be greatly appreciated ... thanks...
