The monitor will have the on screen display setting as locked, look at the monitor settins buttons, where you set the brightness etc.

it risky if you always use your monitor that has a factory defect..i suggest to return to the store for some replacement of your monitor...coz your monitor has a warranty.

That can be bad TFT driver on the LCD panel assembly, new panel will be needed it, you can check the connection between the logic board and the LCD panel first.
