Question about Bushnell Voyager 78-9945 Telescope

Can't see out of lense. Do you take both end caps off? How do you work it? It's new and the instructions are not forthcoming.

The MIRROR is the bottom of the telescope. The focuser is on the side of the tube and should be th UP end of the telescope. Remove the lens cap.

You need to hammer the cap on. The tube with open ends fits over the cap and lets you hammer it on. To make it work, you need something to hold the other end, like a block of wood, or I found a hockey puck worked perfectly. Assemble the rear wheels, then turn the cycle on its side with the cap end of the axle down. Put it on the block of wood or the puck, and then hammer on the cap with the help of the tube. Now if you can help me get the handlebars on, I'd be eternally grateful. Problem is the spacers seem to be too big to allow the fork into the slot in the handlebars, and without them, there is nothing to screw into to hold the handlebars.

POINT THE END with the cap toward the sky. The mirror is on the bottom of the scope. Then put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser, practice focusing on a distant object during the day time.

How do you change the lenses on a dragon dxs snow goggle
First, take the new lense and gently peel back the protective film from the ends about an inch. Take your thumb and place it on the top edge of the nose arch and take your other hand and use your thumb to pry away the top arch, be careful, go slow. The old lense will pop out, replace the new lense by inserting the nose area first the pry back the top until it slips in, then work your way down the sides, when its all in place peel off the remaining protective film.

HOW DO YOU PUT A BULB IN A MINI-MAGLITE?
Unscrew the lense, pull bulb out replace with new one. Normally an extra one is in the end cap in a plastic tube. be sure not to touch new bulb with hands use a tissue.

I live in USA am visiting my mum in Australia. She has a Zeiss Dialy , 7 by 42 B. They are missing the front lense covers or caps - on the larger end - and I was wondering how I could get those for her.
sorry but didnt think zeiss came with them new....they are usually found in cheaper binos as a selling point.....zeiss did have some models with hard rubber caps attached to the objective end so they could not fall off.......enjoy your vacation.....l.reich....www.reichinstruments.com

The TZ3 has a design problem with their new automatic lens cover, ie, manual lense cap on TZ1 was illiminated on TZ3.

Make sure your lense cover is completely retracted in front of the lense. If not, nudge it fully opened and see if this solves you problem. If it does, contact Panasonic with your problem. If not under warranty, tell them you want them to fix 'their' problem on your camers. Google it on the net and see how common this problem is.

Panasonic DMC-FZ7 digital camera.
I believe the FZ7 determines that the lense cap is still on when it can't extend the zoom lense because the lense cap is in the way. I would check to see if your zoom lense housing is somehow stuck (could be sand or dirt in it) which is creating enough resistance to make the camera think the lense cap is impeding the zoom lense from extending.
