Our middle school yearbook adviser has a Canon EOS 10D 35mm camera but can't find the software to upload the pictures so we can do it on our own computer. How do I get the software to do that without a CD of somekind? Thank you.

Well, the EOS 10D is not a 35mm camera (that would be film, not digital) but there is software for it on the Canon website that you can download at THIS LINK

Battery door

To purchase a battery door for your D10, go to eBay and search for "10D battery door." You will see several for sale and they run around $7.00.

.HAVEN'T USED 10D FOR A LONG LONG TIME AND

Here are a few things to try:

1. Remove the main battery and the small backup battery (CR2025) from the battery compartment. Charge your main battery and put both batteries back in once your main battery has been charged. Sitting without batteries will give the camera a chance to reset itself.

2. You may have a bad CF card. Try starting your camera without a CF card or use another.

3. Try reloading the firmware (camera's operating system) using this link Canon. http://web.canon.jp/imaging/EOS10D/10D_firmware-e.html
Be careful to follow instructions exactly as restarting the camera in the middle of a firmware update will brick it and you will need to send it back to Canon for repair.

MY CANON EOS 10D WILL NOT DOWNLOAD ONTO WINDOWS 7. I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO CHANGE COMMUNICATIONS SETTING TO PTP BUT I DO NOT SEEM TO HAVE THIS FUNCTION ON THE MENU. HELP!

My fix for this would be to purchase a memory card reader and an enter level Photoshop imaging program software. The memory card reader to purchase is the one that does all the camera memory cards. Photoshop Elements 5 is one of the programs I use on my PC and it was only $120.00.

Doing this will step around any camera firmware and computer software incompatibilities AND you can use this for any camera memory card so when you do update your camera the software issue is a non issue

Where can I download Canon DS 6031 drive?

Canon has removed the 10D drivers from their web site due to incompatibility with Windows 7 and Windows 10. Your best bet is to purchase a separate CF card reader and use that to download your photos.

I have Cannon EOS Rebel xsi. The camera does not take picture when press the shutter in all modes. There is no error message. Have change the memory card, recharge the battery and none work.

The probleme :
The Shuteer Has A cable Connected to Recorder
Maybe The cable Has Cutted when you Shut ,or Maybe Cutted When You Charged The Battery cause When your put your camera on the charge , the cable goes be hot and it should be cutted .

Solving The Probleme :
1) I advise You To Change The Cable
2) Push The Reset Button
3) Charge It Again

Incompatibility between canon EOS XTi and windows 7

Your problem is that Canon have not yet released a Windows 7 driver for your camera.

You might be able to run the software you have if you set Windows 7 to "compatibility mode". This makes your current software believe that it's running on a pc using an earlier version of Windows.

Re-install the camera software and make sure you have admin rights to that directory. The driver should be included into the software and will be installed with it.

I have a canon ds6031 eos 10d. When I turn the camera on the view screen does not show what your pointing at. Is this normal?

Yes, it is normal. This is a reasonably old DSLR, and it's designed for you to look through the viewfinder (it's more accurate anyway as it's looking through the lens). You'll find if you keep one hand under the lens and one hand on the shutter, it'll feel quite comfortable to look through the viewfinder.

You can still view photos you've taken after you've taken them though.

Shot numbering system not working

Menu>File Numbering (I think it's called ), set it to auto reset, should do the trick. Otherwise, format your card and set it to auto reset.

Canon F1 film advance lever stuck and shutter won't release Hi, After shooting about 16/36 exposures on the camera, the film advance lever got stuck and now only moves about 1/4 of the way around. The shutter is also stuck. I rewound the film and removed the film, hoping it just loaded incorrectly and the problem would be fixed. But the film advance lever is still stuck.

gbc ezload film break off plastic cap I bought accidentally the ezload film instead of standard one. I see that the difference is that the plastic cap is already in. But it's a different loading system. Would it be possible to break off the plastic cap and use it as a standard film?
