A sudden display of operating system misplacment is an indication of a wiring disconnection especially to computers that are connected to a mainframe server situated elsewhere. The wiring connecting the display monitor should be checked for readjustment. Second, labtop computers suddenly displaying operating system misplacement indicates a hardrive maladjustment caused by frequent movement of the device or collision between devices. Check the device for displaced parts especially the harddrive. Third, the operating system malfunctions with the insertion of a disk medium in the disk driver that is capable for altering the entire configuration. check the disk drivers for remaining disks, removing and performing a restart of the computer afterwards. fourth, an intact device without missing parts or broken parts observable woould require operating system reconfiguration depending on the message that is displayed on the screen.

fixing a computer without hardware part damages

First, a computer requirinng reconfiguration though every part is intact is performed by reinstalling a new operating system program. Acquire the operatimng system program disk to reinstall. A functional disk is indication that hard drive is missing especially if the disk driver is functional

Note
A missing harddirve to store the operating system would least produce any indication of functionality when a disk is inserted into the computer driver.

A missing hardriver storage medium or crashed due to excess heat or collisions would have caused an operating system to become volatile.

A crashed harddrive storage medium requirs a missplacement storage, also requiring an operating system reinstallation soon after the storage meduim.

When i turn my d257 acer aspire one on it goes to blue screen asking for a password, or it either goes to a screen that says no boot disk

No Boot disk found - usually indicates the HDD is not located.
so you need to validate the HDD is inserted properly, and locked into the HDD slot. securely,
Blue Screen asking for password, could mean several things,
basically you need with both errors, take to a good Repair Tech and have this looked into... PASSWORD can be either for BIOs or HDD,
or the system went into LOCKED MODE and password is needed to UNLOCK it.

I dont know how my hdd password and cant get into the computer

Hi,

This is only possible if you are using Windows XP. If your operating system is windows Xp, follow the steps below:

  1. Turn on your laptop and allow it get to the stage where is will ask for user/log password
  2. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del your keyboard.
  3. A user name and password prompt will pop up.
  4. On the user name type in "administrator
  5. On the password, type in "administrator"
  6. and you windows will open, go to control panel from there to change the password.
That's all. In other words, the user name and password is administrator.

But in the case of windows Vista, you will have to re-run windows operating system, because vista security is very tight and it is difficult to break into its password..

Take care.

After boot, appears ENTER PRIMARY MASTER HDD USER Password i need the password @ solution to boot up my lappy... thanks

How Do I Change the Primary Master HDD User Password?

Prior to loading an operating system, your computer will first execute the BIOS program. The BIOS has an extra password feature, called the hard disk drive (HDD) user password, that can't be bypassed and provides a layer of defense to keep your data secure. To change an existing HDD user password you will have to load the BIOS menu, which is only accessible during the computer's operating system reboot procedure.

Instructions

1. Close any windows that are currently open on your computer. Eject any discs inserted into the optical drive and disconnect any peripheral USB devices.

2. Open the "Start" menu and select "Shut Down." Turn on your computer once the operating system finishes shutting down.

3. Press the key your computer uses to load the BIOS menu. For example, with Dell computers tap "F2" when the "Press F2 for Setup" option appears. Press the "Access IBM" key on IBM laptops or "F10" on HP desktops.

4. Navigate to the BIOS tab that contains the HDD password option, which will usually be the "Security" tab. Some computer manufactures instead include the password option in the "Advanced" tab.

5. Scroll down to the option labeled either "User Password" or "BIOS lock" and hit "Enter." Type the current master HDD user password when the prompt appears and press "Enter."

6. Input a new HDD user password and hit "Enter" again. Navigate to the BIOS tab labeled "Exit" or something similar.

7. Move over to the "Save and Exit" entry and press "Enter." Select "Yes" and tap "Enter."

Once i open my computer dell 1535 it request for system adminstrator password which i do not have?help please

I have few questions before we proceed, is the question being asked before you reach the "logon screen"?. There are different passwords like bios password, hdd password, and user password. If you didn't set the user administrator password, just leave it blank and hit enter. Please let me know with the operating system running on your system. Good luck.

Asking for password sata port pass

This is a "security" feature, to protect the files on the disk-drive from unauthorized access.

The computer supports "full-disk" encryption of each disk-drive inside your computer.

So, what password did you set when you first initialized this disk-drive?

If you don't know it, there's nothing you can do -- all the files on the disk-drive are _NOT_ accessible to you.
