It sounds like something's trapped in the pump touching the impeller. Drain the machine, isolate the electrics and see if you can access the pump, you may find a piece of debris or small article in the pipework.

Philips TV making a strange clicking noise

A model number would be helpful to answer this but:

This clicking sounds (no pun) like either a mechanical relay in the set's power supply or possible arcing somewhere in the set.

These sets also have a shutdown feature that if engaged may sound like a tic-tic sound.

Let me know model number which is not indicated on this question here.

When plugged in via usb, the LIDE 600F scanner makes a high pitched buzzing noise and will not start up.

Hi

The scanner is not able to find the home position to start.

Hence open the scanner and check to make sure the scanner assy. is moving to the end and when it senses the home position it will try to move a little away from it and then return back. But if the sensor is dirty or broken it will make a loud noise like belt slipping.

Try to find the sensor on back of the Tube assy. and try to fix it.

Just bought the RCA1023 and i have a buzzing sound trying to fix it i have it hooked to my tv through the HDMI cable i also have the audio cords (red and white) hooked up and i am still getting a very...

Buzzing is usally AC line noise leaking into an un-shielded cable somewhere or a floating ground. If the AC plug is reversible, try that. Sometimes the buzz is from an attached device. Make sure all audio cables are plugged in tightly at each end and routed away from or at right angles to any power cords and away from other sources of strong magnetic fields like TV's. I've also seen variable track lights induce noise but it's usually minor.

Try rotating the power cord in the wall outlet.

If it still does it with no cables or anything external attached it

Strange noise from the lever that connects the hoop to carriage

Sounds like you may have a belt problem or possibly an object in the carriage system. Underneath the free arm there is a cover that can be removed so you may inspect the area. I would remove it and take a look, maybe you will be lucky and find an object there that is causing the noise.

All radioes in my home have a loud buzz. started buzzing two days ago. have not plugged in anything different.

I assume this is on AM as FM would typically not do this.

You have a noise generator interfering someplace. I suggest you use a battery operated radio and tune to the buzzing.

Then turn off your main breaker to your house. If the buzzing remains, the problem is external to your house. It MIGHT be a bad insulator on a power pole. See if your electric company will investigate this.

IF the noise totally went away when you killed the power to your house, turn off ALL the breakers then turn on the main and one by one turn the brealers on till the buzzing returns. When it does, analyze what is on that breaker.

Some common in house sources: Bad door bell transformer, ionizer or electrostaic air cleaner, flourescent lights and CFL bulbs, Bad connections in wiring (very dangerous), switching power supplies and "wall wart" adapters to name a few.

Plazma TV buzzing noise

I have the same problem I can hear buzzing over the volume of the tv into the 30 range. I've had a tech out 3 times and he's coming out for a fourth. He's changed to power supplies and is bringing the 3rd next visit. From what I've read it has either to do with power supplies or grounding strips.

Hard drive making strange alarm/chiming noise and won't load onto desktop

Listen to your power supply and see if it is making a faint buzzing noise. Try your device with a new power supply. With a new power supply my drive now runs fine, and was not corrupted.

My DVD, when switched on makes buzz/rattle noises.

this could be a lot of differant issues. First thing I would do if your a tech or know how to troubleshoot solid state elctronics is try the easyest thing first like unplug unit for 12 to 24 hours. then open the unit and check for ripple on the b+ lines. if the power supply is good i would then check the slider as well as the return home/park switch. The make sure that the slider does return to home and that the drive Ic for the motor is not over heating. If you cannot make these checks then the only thing you can do is try the reset like I said as it most likly will not be worth the bench charge to invest into this unit. thats the way these things are built, a throw away sociaty
