I have bad ac adaptor - Liquid Video A170E101 Monitor

Could be a bad battery and/or charger/AC Adaptor/DC Connector. Try to isolate the problem by removing the battery and then plugging the laptop charger in and starting the pc up. It should boot on the AC adapter alone. If it won't boot on the AC adaptor or it flickers and flashes while on the AC adaptor, I would first suspect the AC adaptor or the DC connector on the laptop (try wiggling the power plug at the PC to try and check the connector). If it behaves while on the AC adaptor without the battery present, I would suspect the battery. Either way, you may have to replace something.

Is the battery any good? A bad battery will cause erratic operation of adapter/charger.

Remove the battery and plug the ac adaptor in check wethere the light on the port where you connect the ac adaptor glows or not, if no then check the wethere the ac adaptor is getting warm or not after you plug it in for few minutes if not then ac adaptor has to be replaced.
If the light on the port is glowing then it is likely that the power supply of the notebook has gone bad as it is not able to switch to ac adaptor or the port where you connect the ac adaptor to the notebook has a short circut when the acadaptor pin is connected , better try with a different ac adaptor to be sure wethere the issue is with ac adaptor or the notebook.

The Power cable might have gone bad but if changing the power cable doesnot resolve the problem then surely motherboard has gone bad.

Did you wiggle it a bit when plugged in? You can't tell from looking on the outside if the plug is fine because it goes bad inside where it is soldered. This is a very common problem, and have fixed many laptops with the same problem. All of them had a bad solder connection inside. Did you dtermine the plug was fine by plugging another ac adapter to your laptop or you just checked it visually? Hit me up I will solve this one for you.

Hook up the ac adaptor and make sure the other end is not plugged into the xbox 360. if its still red then your ac adaptor is bad. If its still green then plug the other end into the 360 and if it turns red then that means the mainboard inside the 360 is bad.

Sounds like the cells in the battery went bad. Try to turn on your laptop with just the ac adaptor hooked up and your battery out off the laptop to make sure that your ac adaptor is working properly. If you can boot up into windows with just the ac adaptor hooked up then you know your ac adaptor is good.

If you get that far then try a different battery and see if the laptop charges with another known good battery. If it does then you know your original battery is bad. If it doesn't charge your different known good battery then you know the motherboard is bad. Hope this helps.

Hook up your power adaptor to ac power without it being hooked up to the laptop and see if the green light stays on. If it does then you know your adaptor is okay. if your adaptor is only hooked up to ac power and the green light still turns off then you know your ac adaptor is bad.

Take out the battery from your laptop. Now hook up the ac adaptor to the laptop and if it stays green then you know your battery is bad but you also want to make sure you can get your laptop to turn on. Hopefully it will turn on with only the ac adaptor hooked up to it.

Charger board seems to have gone bad.

Your phone did expirence a surge that probably blew the ac adaptor which happens most of the time, u can buy one of those universal adaptors and look on the back of the old adaptor for the output voltage it will usually read between 3 and 8 volts DC.Set the universal adAptor voltage to the setting right below the voltage output on the back of the ac adaptor.
