It's a big pain when you dont have the right driver. but try this:

1. download and install the Windows Service Pack 3 (XP SP 3) in the computer and check if it works.

and how are you trying to connect to the internet? you might just want to put in an extra PCI network card, if you want to use the broadband or if you need the usb ports to work, try a PCI USB card instead.

either ways, make sure you have installed SP3 in that computer.

cheers!

I have installed windows xp in my net vista mt-m 830281u, need drivers ,as display, audio, network not working.

Hi,
Try the drivers from Intel. Here is the link: http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-009236.htm if it does not work, double check the exact chipset of the motherboard and try to search it on the internet. Just the chipset driver will take care of the drivers for the ports/devices of the motherboard.
Hope this helps you.....

IBM Netvista Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz / 512MB DDR / 40GB HDD / DVD-ROM / 10/100Mbps LAN / Windows XP. I reinstall the Operating System with XP Service Pack 3, and now I don't have the drivers for video,...

If you give me the model number of your system and let me know if it's Win XP 32 or 64 bit. I will see if I can help. Is there a graphics crad installed? If you had make and model of motherboard that would really help.

Problems with 3 brand new PC 133 512 MB RAM in Netvista 6794

That last RAM probably is good. Many motherboards have problems using many different memory. All of the memory you have should be at least identical to ensure that they work. When RAM run at different speed or require a little more voltage, they will not let your motherboard boot. You can try mixing up the order you put the RAM in. Try putting the last RAM in the first slot by itself, the motherboard should boot. Then try the rest.

Also, whenever you add or change hardwares, you should clear the CMOS/BIOS settings.

Ibm 845 e motherboard problem

IBM Netvista PC is not ready for Windows XP, you should update its BIOS on its version so that you can install windows XP, maybe ACPI is not ready yet for this motherboard compliance to Windows XP, so download it at www.ibm.com

IBM NetVista M41 PC Desktop Os Install Impossible

You probably need an OEM version of XP...not that IBM version. If you buy an OEM version, you can use it many computers. A real XP disc will partition, format, and delete partitions on any functioning Hard drive. Don't buy a recovery disc, please. That just sounds WRONG.

A cheaper solution might be a new Hard Drive...but I don't trust your IBM version of XP.
