i just thought i'd post here in case someone runs into the same problem

Problem: right thumbstick consistently inputs positive x-axis data ie. the thumbstick moves right on it's own

to fix this you simply:

1) remove batteries
2) hold buttons 6, 8, and 1
3) reinsert batteries while holding the above 3 buttons
4) confirm that the thumbstick is working properly

thats it...
a few forum searches have said that the buttons to hold are 5, 7 and 1... that is not true. 6, 8 and 1 are the correct buttons to hold

Controller won't work on game

It either isn't compatible with BF or isn't configured (properly). Check the manual or the BF website for compatibility, and look at the in-game controller settings. Good luck!

Pleeeeeeeeease help

Are you sure you have all the proper drivers downloaded for your controller? Make sure that has been done. You should have software ( CD ) that came with yout hardware ( the cordless game pad) or go to the Logitech website and their support page to get the proper drivers that match your operating system. Just install the drivers and software which followed with the product. You can download the software from aswell: http://www.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/joystick/lgs460enu.exe Further instructions should be on the CD.
