Check the white balance. This should be under menu. When you are outside in sunlight, change is to the sun icon, ect.
Are the exposures very long? If they are, they need to be shorter in high light, and longer in lowlight situations.

Having problems with quality of pictures taken inside....they all have a "yellow" color tint to them. Any suggestions? Camera takes excellent outside pictures.

Check your white balance setting. Indoor incandescent bulbs have a yellow color that we normally aren't aware of but shows up in a photo. Usually, when you have your camera set on auto white balance, the camera can correct for it but if it can't, you can set the white balance for tungsten/indoor light.

I have a canon camera A460. when i used outdoor the image appears to be white..but when i used it indoor it appears okey

Hi.

It could be over exposure or maybe it is set to indoor or night settings.. Try setting it to automatic or to "outdoor" when you go outside and then take a picture.

Help, my camera seems to work ok , but if i take a photo outside and then look at the photo that i have taken it is all white , it works well indoors ??

Hello,

One possibility that you have to check is the outdoor setting of your camera, it may have been set on a night mode that's why it's capturing too much light or it may be on an indoor mode that do not allow you to take outdoor pictures, just double check the setting or restore the default setting and it's best if you read the manual to help you set it up the way you desire.

When pictures are taken outside during the day they are unclear with some white horizontal lines and when taken indoors its ok.tried everything the manual said but still no changes

White shadow or white lines may occur if the light was too bright when you take the picture, especially in strong sun light. Have you turn off the flash light when you taking those picture ? If you haven't, then you should try to turn off your camera flash light manually. And I must remind you not to take a picture with your lens faced the sun light or other light (lamp etc) directly. Even if you take a picture outdoors, try to make your lens shaded by something, you can even use your own shadow to shade them.

Hope this help and be kind to rate please.

I TALKED TO KODAK DIDN,T HELP

Trying taking indoor pictures in the "Night Portrait" or "Night Landscape" modes in the "SCN" command. Be careful not tho shake the camera in these modes.

The "Party" mode works well if the people in the picture are close to the camera.

You could also play with the settings in the "P" command to adjust the amount of light entering the camera.

Good luck.
