I have a 10 year old dacor oven model ERSD30 and usually if we have a problem with the clock blinking or a failure code we turn off the breaker and turn it on again to reset., but now the clock isn't keeping proper time, tried to reset with the breaker off and on several times without luck. the clock displays time but its running too fast to be accurate. Please advise

SOURCE: Possessed Oven

I found a new touch panel (or membrane switch pad) for < $166 at http://www.myapplianceparts.com/ . The person on the phone at this company was very pleasant and immediatley confirmed that they had 10 of these in stock. This suggests to me that more than a few of these have gone bad. Luckily, they are very simple to replace if you are willing to turn a few screws and carefully pull of the electrical connectors. I dissasembled mine in 20 minutes, got the part number (#62682B for my ECS130), and found best price in 20 minutes.

SOURCE: dacor oven ECPS127S will not heat after self clean

the problem was fixed by opening the panel between the oven cavity and the touch panel just behinf the door. you can look through the grill but to trip the reset you must unscrew the panel. you will find the reset back behind the wires Looks a red button nestled on top not very open but it should be there> i do have to say i found a step by step description on this site. but right now i can't tell you who exactly he was.

SOURCE: Dacor ECS230 Wall Oven Control Panel Time functions not working

Try turning the power off at the breaker for 12 hours.

I had the same problem, tried turning the power off for a few minutes but that did not fix the problem.

Leaving the power off overnight seems to have fixed it.

SOURCE: dacor model ersd30 how do i fix an F0 error code

Hi dan8260,

If you're encountering F0 error code, it is due to a stuck function key. You need to replace the touch pad to fix this error. If the touch pad is part of the clock, you need to replace the clock or ERC.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

The time blinks at 12:00, there is a beeping sound, the oven does not work. It's only 2 years old.

Hi.

The beeping sound is a warning because the oven is in lock condition, or because a fault had been detected. In this last case there would be an error code or something unusual.

Push and hold the Clock button for about 10 seconds, that will reset the oven. If that does not work, then trip the circuit breaker for five minutes and hold the button again to reset.

If still no luck, then there may be a fault condition. In that case better calling the Frigidare number listed on the owners manual.

If the oven is two year old , then there may still be warranty cover on parts, one more reason to contact the manufacturer if the oven does not reset.

Try resetting the oven first.

Regards.

Dacor 1.5 years old convection oven...not heating

Flip both oven breakers HARD to the "off" position, then back on. If it did not help - you might have a problem with a relay on the control board or a failed bake element.
Grab a flashlight and check the element on the bottom (if you can see it). DO NOT TOUCH THE ELEMENT! If you find any bulging or cracking on the element - it'd out. Before removing the element turn the oven off on the breaker panel.
PS Model number is needed to find the part numbers.

Is there a reset switch for Decor Electric oven? Kids turned on self clean and read out stopped working. Unit is at least 10 years old.

You can reset the oven by shutting down the breaker for the unit for an hour or 2, if your oven is over ten years old it might not help, the board could have been fried, good luck

PCS 130 Keypad

Dacor probably won't cover anything. F1 is either the touch pad or ERC (clock). If it stops beeping when the touch pad is uplugged from the ERC then the touch pad is the problem if not it is the ERC. Call Dacor Customer service to get a price on the parts and to voice your displeasure.

Dacor error codes

HI. the F-1 code is a System Watchdog Circuit failure code.

Press "Cancel", if beeping continues after 30 seconds, replace the main control board (also called clock or ERC).

Concerning the F-5 code. This is an oven temp sensor failure code. have it replaced asap. ((Check the wiring leading to and from the control and sensor for cracks and fouled structure. if the wiring is bad, replace the harness as well)),
