Where can I get software updates for the kenwood ddx812

USUALLY THERE IS NO CODE BUT IF U PURCHASE USE YOU HAVE GET CODE

OR TURN KEY AND PUSH RESET BUTTON FOR TEN SECOND THEN TURN OFF AND TRY TURN ON

the reset button is on the bottom left side of the screen, as far as the amp goes check your connections. should have 12vdc on the + and the remote wire to the ground on the amp. if your good on the connections at the very least the protect light should be on. if its not then something is wrong with the amp itself. verify all connections before assuming its the amp first.

Just unlocked my boyfriends using the reset, ATT , src buttons. Hold all 3 at same time & it will reset the system

make sure you have power going to the red wire.

You need to update your software. Garmin does this through a downloaded file you burn to a CD. You then do a firmware update to the Kenwood from the CD. Instuctions are on-line at:

Try updating the ipod software from the kenwood website, I had the same problem and it worked for me. My album artwork didnt work either until I updated the software.
