Have a Hitachi Soleus split unit KFR-18GW(D). Not cooling. Called in a licensed master plumber. He put freon in. Pressure set at 40. Didn't work. He jumped wired to test compressor. Compressor would not kick in so he replaced compressor with a new one from manufact. After replacing it the sensor lite blinked 4 times and according to manual, this means compressor is not working. Shut down unit from electrical box because there isn't a manual shut off on unit only on remote. Still won't work. Plumber has been here 5 times since unit went on fritz. Heat valve not clicking in. Need to know if there is any help for us or should the unit be junked (Only 3rd summer unit has been used). [email protected]
If the freon is 410a the pressure must be 100-120psi,if it is 22 the pressure must be 45-55psi.you unlucky because hitachi havent problems with compressors.is it inverter the unit?if it is you must check the outdoor pc board,if the 4valve clicking in the you must replaced it propably has stucked.

Check your thermostsat see if there is a fan switch on it set it to auto
