Hello, my Powerware 3105 beeps 3 times every 30 seconds or so. I think the battery is not working anymore because when I unplug the power source everything connected turns off. Can you confirm bad battery...

Your problem is showing up under the Powerware 9305 (a very large UPS) but your comments are about the 3105. It sounds like your battery is dead. If your UPS is over 3-5 years old, that's most likely the case. The website address to view the user manual is www.eaton.com/3105 You can contact Eaton directly, too. Eaton bought Powerware about 6 years ago. Here's the contact info. Be sure to have your serial and model numbers ready from the rating label on your UPS.

Phone dead

I am guessing heat can only come from discharging the battery in a non-intentional way. Short circuit or something internal.

Did you plug it into something besides the connector it came with?
An FM transmitter for the iPod killed mine.
Hard reset, wall charging, USB charge, iTunes restore, replaced the battery ... still dead.
Considering how hot it gets, (could be a fire hazard?) surprised Apple doesn't issue a notice or warning.

Caveat emptor, going back to Motorola.

Wont stay on

You probably don't have the batteries fully charged up. Also you will need to change battery type from alkaline to metal hydride in the "wrench2"(the last icon on the menu) menu. You did get metal hydride rechargeable batteries??? If you got nickel-cadmium rechargeables that might also be your problem with your camera as they don't have enough power.
