Don't know where you can get a manual, you never stated the model number, but you could contact the factory and talk with an engineer about whatever problems your having. (There are also parts still available for these older fellas).

Oiling has nothing to do with compression.It has conection only with engine rotation(rpm).More rpm results more oil and viceverse.Check the oil filter,the oil line,the holes from the bar,the oiler,the wormgear and the oil hose.

Joe you are weak! While we are not calling you a sissy girl, we do wonder. You need to build up your arms. Try lifting weight for about a month before you try to start the engine again. Stay out of dark alleys until you do. We will be watching.

I have never seen a shop manual offered free. What about an IPL (exploded parts list 11 is the only prefix for the model saw)?
