Their are three small screws at the bottom of the panel (FLOOR LEVEL) once these are removed you can pull out on the bottom of the panel to remove..Then you can place a shallow pan under the drain pump then remove the cap and strainer to clean......

My HE2 washer will not continue on to the drain and spin cycle.

Hi

This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Clean the pump filter screen on a Kenmore HE2 Not draining

  1. Unplug machine.
  2. Remove bottom front panel(remove 2-3 screws in the bottom) Pull bottom of panel out and down to remove.
  3. Towards the center bottom you will see the pump. On the front is a round thing that resembles a filter. This is the pump filter screen...
  4. Get a shallow pan to put under screen. Turn lid counter clockwise to remove(turn slowly and allow water to drain. As you may need to dump pan several times before all water is drained out. Be careful or you could end up with water everywhere. Once the water is drained pull out screen and remove the debris and objects stuck in screen and filter housing you should also be able to see the impeller on the pump inspect for debris.
  5. Once everything is cleaned out reverse removal procedures put back together.

Error message of f02 on Kenmore HE3 front loader washer at end of cycle

Hello,

The F2 error code indicates that the washer spent too long in the drain cycle, that typically is due to the drain pump filter being clogged. It's fairly easy to clean that filter by removing the lower panel and unscrewing the filter on the lower right side .Be prepared for some (perhaps a lot) of water to come out when that filter is unscrewed so have some towels or a couple plastic tubs to catch the water that comes out DO NOT completly remove that screen until all the water has come out or be prepared to get very wet by pulling it out without first catching the water

Hope this helps and if it does please give me 4 thumbs up

I have a 5d fault code on my HE 2plus kenmore washer.

  1. Remove the lower front panel and remove the cover for the drainage filter. Slide this tray out and clean it.
  2. Unplug the washer for at least 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit.
  3. If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended to replace the drain pump.

Kenmore fHE 2 plus front load washer does not drain and does not complete the spin and drain cycle. Error code f-21.

Means the drain is too long. Under the front lower panel is a sump filter. Remove the filter by turning ccw and clean.

Where is the pump/filter located on my Kenmore Front Loader Washe

It is just behind the lower panel. Remove the 3 screws from the lower panel (the panel just below the door), the screws are on the lip on the bottom of the panel facing the front of the machine. Pull down and toward you to get the panel off. The filter and clean out are in the center. Unscrew the cap to remove and clean out, but have lots of towels ready, there will be water coming out.

Where do i find the filters on a front load kenmore he2 i believe the filter is clogged with dog hair but i do not know where to find them and i cant find my manual the washer will wash but not drain all...

Front lower panel should have three bolts near the floor. Remove those and panel should slide down. There you will find a plug. once you unscrew it water will pour out, be ready.

Lint trap

First you need to remove three screws on the front lower panel. This will expose a round "plug" to your right. This is the lint/drain trap. Place a bucket under the plug. Slowly unscrew this plug and aloow the water to drop into the bucket. Make sure your plug is clean and reset it.
