My problem regarding my Samson wireless microphone for saxophone is that the clip broke and the microphone has now become totally useless. The microphone itself as well as the receiver work fine. I was wondering what the options were to resolving the problem. Thanks for your help.

The plastic comnponent that screws into the base of the mic and attaches to a mic stand broke. Where do I find a replacement.

I haven't seen it on the market as a spare part. I'd email Samson directly, or simply get one of the spider shock resistant mounts out there.

How can i get a mic stand mount for my mic? The Piece That holds the mic is broke and i want to know where i could get another one at...any help

If you can't locate one via a Samson dealer (try Amazon) the next best thing would be to go to a musical instrument store and buy a universal (butterfly) mic clip. These have one of 2 standard screw threads on the bottom (you can get an adapter for the other size if it doesn't come with both) and will fit most mic stands. Because of the butterfly design they will take almost all microphones except the fattest ones - which need a soft rubber clip designed for 'radio mics'

Can I get replacement drum rim clamps/mounts?

Hi, I don't think you can replace the Just like that, except from a damaged onethat the rim clamp/mount is still present.

You will need to get a new drum kit mic for your drum set, And i would advice whengetting a new drum mic, it's better you buy another product..\

For me i prefer Yoga Drum kits or some other one would do.

Hope that helps...

The Cartridge broke loose inside the screen. Are the Q7 mics serviceable.

Hi,

You can try to glue the parts together, but only if the wiring is not broken.

My Samson HM40 clip is broken

Much of the plastic used on music stuff is ABS and one can SOMETIMES glue it with the black ABS plumbing glue from the home improvement stores. Try to build up a fillet with several coats.

I for instance repaired the music rack brackets for a Tyros keyboard that takes a lot of strain using this glue. Your must have reasonably good "fitup" of the break.

Instrument mic - clip has snapped off

I'd recommend [email protected] or [email protected]. Applied microphone.com sells a universal clamp for their Wi5 wireless microphone system that works for brass, woodwinds and stringed instruments.

C01u PROBLEM PLS HELP ?!

That's the way it's supposed to work. It's a mono microphone, so there's only one signal to record.

Set up your recording software so that it only records the Left channel. It describes how to do this on the Samson FAQ page and in the Owner's Manual:

"In your digital audio workstation (DAW), create a mono audio track, and set it to the Left channel of the C01U (the Right channel should be ignored). Arm the track for recording, and adjust the input gain by using the software control in your computer's operating system"

Don't try to alter the pan so both sides are the same; that will just screw up the levels and noise.
