YP-K3. Unable to transfer "playlist" into its own file

From my understanding, I thought you were able to transfer a Theme Playlist from the PC into the player and it would show up under the playlist category. Every time I transfer music from the playlist it adds to Artist/Title/Albulm, but the playlist category states that there is no file.

Please help! I am getting way too frustrated.

I actually just deleted all the songs on my player and then transfered just the playlist file. It still says the playlist has no file. I really would just like a seperate category of these songs.....like a "favorites."

I tried that and it didnt work..what i had to do was have my pc on the left and my albums on the right..transfer songs from pc to album and then open my album on the left and my portable on the right and then just click on the album as a whole and transfer that..if it asks if u want to overwrite songs just click yes..this way the album will come up in the playlists and you will also have them individually in tracks...the problem that i have is deleting a playlist, because the playlist/album itself doesnt come up on the screen on the samsung studio???

When you send your playlist make sure the playlist is closed before highlighting and transferring it. If the list is open when you send it, it will not pick up the name of your playlist and register no file on your player.

Where can i downlaod software for a samsung yp-k3 please

You dont need any special software to add files to your player. I will give you two ways to add files to your player:

  • **Drag and Drop**
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder; available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
  • --**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

i would take it to the place of purchase and talk to one of the tech nerds about it, and if they half nothing then try to get on the k3's website for support and assistance, what does it say when you try to use the playlist or text?

Unable to transfer playlist to sansa c250 mp3 player

This player isn't capable of playlist transfer - you can only create a playlist on the go from the player itself. You will have to transfer individual songs only.

Playlists

You have to copy files to "my albums" area. You can choose among default albums or you can make your own. After that just copy those albums to your player area ( you can choose not to overwrite files but in that case you will have duplicate songs in your player i.e. you will lose your memory for nothing). There is one bad thing about those playlists - when you copy them to player, you actually move them - they will be no longer present in samsung media studio. Maybe it's because of that "overwriting" thing, i don't know...Hope this can help, it worked for me.
