Run application setup.exe on virtual CD created by Huawei Modem. If you installing this application, it will also installing drivers.

Windows 7 should manually install the drivers for the modem. However, modems usually don't require drivers unless they're being plugged in with a usb cable. If possible, I would use the ethernet connection as it's much faster than the usb connection. If that's not possible, search on the manufacturer's website to find the driver you require. I did some searching myself and couldn't find anything specifically relating to Windows 7, but usually a Windows Vista driver will work.

You will probably need to edit the wvdial.conf file a little so that you are using the right connection parameters for your internet service.
If those URL's did not help, please follow this procedure:
Step 1: Open Terminal from "Applications->Accessories->
Terminal"
Step 2: Run the following commands (copy-paste each line below to the Terminal then hit <enter> after each line)
ifconfig
sudo lshw -C network
lspci -nn
lsusb
uname -a
dmesg | grep USB
Step 3: Post results (cut/paste terminal output from each command) here
Step 4: Provide us with the full model and make of Huawei modem. What is the exact model number? Does it connect to the PC using a serial-to-USB converter?
