I can not locate a replacement motor #62345. Can you help?

Its located in the under hood engine compartment fuse box.

There will be three same relays.One for fuel pump and other for horn and bit bigger one for starter controlling.

Its located under dash,or near glove box.

The dash panel lower side has to be out.

HEATER BLOWER MOTOR

Its faulty blower motor resistor. The low and medium speed on blower motor is controlled by resistor and its actual speed is high. So because resistor is not working, blower motors actual speed which is high is working.

It can be faulty blower motor or faulty blower motor resistor. Get the blower motor inspected. If it's faulty it has to be replaced.

the blower motor is located on the pass side under the dash. calls for .7 hour to replace it relatively easy to replace. just unplug it and undue the little screws that hold it in transfer the fan part if it doesnt come with the motor and replace. hope this helps

The Blower Motor Resistor Block is usually located in the air duct on the output side of the blower motor. It is placed here so that air flow from the fan helps stop the resistiors from overheating and burning out. It should be obvious once you look near to where you replaced the blower motor.

this car doesnt have a power steering pump, this car uses an electric motor to provied power steering, this motor is located under the dash connected to steering column shaft,when replacing the motor the module must also be replaced, here is a diagram to help you locate the motor,

The blower motor is located under the dash on the pass side in front.Open the pass front door , get on your knees, and look up under the dash, you will see the flying saucer looking object, that is the blower motor.Right next to it is where the resistor is located, and yes it is recomended that you replace the resistor also because that is where the main current flows thru to get to the blower motor.That actually controls the current of the motor, which controls the speed of the motor, low, med, high, recirc, etc....any other questions get back to me, TX!! HOPE I COULD HELP!!!

The motor is a common item to need replacement in bathroom vents. Replacements can be found just about anywhere that deals with electric motors. You might even be able to get a replacement where you originally purchased the unit. There are dozens of web sites that you can locate a replacement. http://www.electricmotorwarehouse.com is just one. Simply do a web search on replacement bathroom vent motors. Also if the are able to purchase items from wholesale vendors you can get one from Grainger's. It should cost around $20 to $25
Part # 62345-000 (replacement motor part #).


However there is an alternative to replacement. This depends entirely on how handy you are with these kinds of things and how bad off the motor is. If your not comfortable with repairing this kind of thing don't bother with the rest of this.

I hate to replace anything that may be repairable. Unfortunately my friends know this and recently one asked me to look at his NuTone bathroom vent motor before he replaced it.
For the cost in time of an hour I was able to refurbished it.
A good way to check if it's a candidate for repair is to check how much play is in between the shaft and bushings. If you can feel movement then it's best to go ahead and replace it. If the problem is that the shaft is tight and just hard to turn then it may just need some cleaning and fresh lubrication.
The steps are simple. Once you have the motor removed from the vent cage you will see a pair of nuts and bolts holding two brackets in place. These brackets(one on either side of the coil) are what hold the shaft centered and house the bushings. Remove the bolts and the brackets. Be careful not to lose any of the washers on the shaft. These are spacers and need to be replace the same way they went on if they come off. All you need to do is clean both ends of the shaft put a little oil on the shaft and in the bushing and put it back together. If the motor has a plug and not just bare wires for reconnecting to the power supply then it's safe to just plug it in to any outlet for testing after you remount it in the vent cage. You will know right away if you were successful.

unfortunatly you will probably have to remove the dash from the vehicle to replace it. It is not a job for a novice mechanic.
